The ScottNet® Testing
and Survey system is one of our oldest and most robust products. Joseph
L. Scott co-published a paper in 1968 on the applicability of computing
technology to educational needs. We know computer based educational
technology.

Easy to use

You do not have to be a
"techie" to use our system. It has been designed with
intuitive and easy to use user interfaces. Our system has been
refined over 15 years of production. We serve teachers, college
students, elementary school kids, high school students, CEO's, sales
teams, and many other users that require simple and easy to use
interfaces. Our broad market success is a testament to the

Real time

Our system is a real
time system. You can add remove content anytime you need. As
an example, we actually had a student taking a test while the instructor
was still creating it. The student kept having to wait for the instructor
to finish a question. They finished together and it gave them both a good
laugh. That's the power of our system... real time
development. To prevent another story like the one above, we allow
instructors to take a test / survey offline while it is being modified and
then "re-activate" it when they are done. Instructors can
even pre-schedule "testing intervals" months in advance. You
could have a "testing hour" where your users would only be able
to initiate your test during a specified hour long window. From one
second to infinity, you can schedule access to your content for any length
of time.
Automatic grading

Any instructor will tell
you that a majority of their time is spent grading materials.
Because of the flexibility of our system your tests will be graded
automatically. You can change your grading methodology, the possible
answers, or even the questions themselves anytime. The system will
automatically re-grade your exams. That's right, you can change a
test after it was taken and still grade it automatically.

functionality. Our system allows you unlimited combinations of
simple answer, multiple choice, multiple answer, and full text responses.

software applications utilize a 4-tier security system. We protect
high end intellectual property all over the world. We have authored
security systems for national prison systems. However, our security system
will not hold your users prisoner. We can secure your testing /
survey content to any degree from free to total lock down.
Access to your content via

Our system can use any
combination of e-commerce, user id and password, registration, time
windows, or one-time use tokens to access your testing content.
Metrics, Metrics, Metrics

We track everything from
demographic data, to all relevant testing metrics such as test / question
time, test location, invalid responses, type-o's, and even attempts to manipulate
the test system.

Our test reports show
test metrics such as question answer analysis, question success / failure
rates broken down demographically, test / question time intervals, and
many other metrics necessary to truly analyze test item validity, test viability,
and to expose any test biases. We have worked with numerous
instructional designers to provide a broad and comprehensive suite of
reports.
